Joe Radinovich (DFL) and Pete Stauber (R) are locked in a tight race for Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District seat. Ray “Skip” Sandman is the Independence Party candidate. Rep. Rick Nolan (DFL) is retiring from congress leaving it as a wide open seat rated as a tossup by many political observers. Radinovich, Stauber and Sandman are scheduled to debate at 10am in Duluth. The forum is moderated by the Duluth News Tribune’s Chuck Frederick and the Duluth Chamber of Commerce’s David Ross.
